RV Rentals and Fishermans Village

California

Whether you're RV rental trip is for a day, a weekend or a week, Marina del Rey puts a world of options at your finger tips. Choose from multitude of water and boating activities, sightseeing, skating, biking, shopping, and much more-within minutes of your hotel room. All this and more call all be found at Fisherman's Village in Marina del Rey!

Built to capture the spirit of a New England seaport, Fisherman's Village, has become a local and tourist attraction based on the waterfront in Marina del Rey. The first thing that will probably stand out at you when you arrive is its colorful cluster of cottages, which gives Fishman's Village its own unique charm. The tallest structure you will find throughout the Village is the lighthouse. The waterfront offers a stunning view of Marina del Rey's dominant feature, the largest man-made small boat harbor in the world, with about 7,000 pleasure boats and yachts.

The Village serves as the location for yacht brokerages and travel agencies. Every conceivable type of water sport is offered as well, from boats and watercraft you pedal, paddle, sail, or drive to windsurfing, sunbathing, swimming, and surfing. Other aquatic options include boat charters, harbor cruises, whale watching, and ocean fishing. You can rent bikes here and take them on the 22 mile coastal South Bay Bicycle Trail or you can take a narrated harbor tour aboard a vintage yacht. Water enthusiasts can even rent boats and jetskis by the hour!

If you are not looking for so much action during your visit, take it easy by strolling along the waterfront cobblestone paths or take some time out to check out the souvenir and gift shops and buy a little something to remember your RV rental stay.

Indulge Your Senses

As the evening winds down, indulge your tastebuds in one of the many mouth watering eateries located in and around Fisherman's Village. The options are endless! Choose from a dinner dance cruise, to a Sunday brunch cruise, or an evening Summer Sunset Cocktail cruise. If your stay is going to be short, or you are in a hurry, enjoy a snack at one of the cafés while watching the fishing trawlers return with their catch accompanied by ever-vigilant seagulls and pelicans.

For a perfect end to your stay in Fisherman's Village, take in one of the free weekend concerts on Saturday and Sunday. Live music is played near the lighthouse and the large bell that hangs at its center. Afternoon concerts are also available so you and your family can enjoy some fun in the sun!
